Sometimes it's just plain hard to imagine how a piece of tile or a plank might look in your home. Luckily, there's a solution: the Visualizer from Tile Outlets of America!
What's a Visualizer?
A visualizer allows you to bring your floors to the store so you get more information when you explore your options. You can easily see how your room looks with wood plank tile, with strong decorative tile patterns, and with elegant stone looks. You can even switch the direction of the installation, so you can decide which you prefer. The Tile Outlets of America Room Visualizer makes it so much easier for your dreams to become reality!
What's particularly exciting is that you don't have to download any applications to your laptop or desktop or add any apps to your tablet or mobile device. All you need is an image of the room you plan on remodeling. It's that simple!
How to Visualize Your New Floors or Walls in Three Steps
Step 1 - Select any flooring or wall product from the Tile Outlets of America website
When you browse through flooring products (i.e., floor tile, stone patterns, and LVT) in the product catalog, look for "See This in My Room" and click on the product image.
If you scroll down this page, you'll find pre-selected products so you can explore and experience the Visualizer.
Step 2 - Upload a photo of your room or pick a room scene
In terms of rooms for visualizing product, you have options.
- You can select one of the room scenes available within the tool.
- Even more fun is to snap a photo of your room from your digital device and use it in the Visualizer.
- If you're on a desktop, you can simply upload an image from your hard drive into the Tile Outlets Visualizer.
Step 3 - See our flooring products in your room in seconds!
Just like magic, you'll see the flooring or wall product you selected in your room!
You can easily change products so you can compare and decide which you prefer.
You can also change the direction of the installation.
The Visualizer from Tile Outlets of America in Action
Enough talk. Let's see the Visualizer in action.
Here we have photos of five rooms from an existing home done with a 12x12 tile throughout the house. Watch how we completely change the look of each room using the Visualizer to see how different products look.
The Foyer
Welcome! The foyer is the front entrance to your house and provides the first impression to people when they walk through that front door.
Icaria Blanco 18x18 Tile
The Icaria Blanco 18x18 is a nice warm color without being too busy. With the yellow walls and green accent wall this look works well with the existing furnishings.
Kingswood Oxide Plank Tile
The Kingswood Oxide plank has those warm brown and red tones and really pulls the colors from the bench into the room. It also complements the wall coloring.
Kitami Azul Plank Tile
The Kitami Azul plank can work nicely in the main foyer of your home. The colors complement the hutch and the bench and the neutral colors in the tile make the floors and walls a standout.
Wood Cliff Luxury Vinyl Plank
The Wood Cliff vinyl plank also brings the warm colors of the bench and cool colors of the walls out.
Please notice that I changed the direction of the tile in this example to show you how different it looks when the planks are installed side to side across the door entrance versus straight forward from the entrance as shown above.
Which direction do you prefer?
The Kitchen
We spend lots of time in the kitchen. It's often considered the hearth and heart of a home.
In looking at the original kitchen image with 12x12 tile, I see many options for flooring. It can complement the cabinet colors, backsplash, paint color or furniture pieces in a room.
Bayard Natural Wood Plank Tile
The Bayard Natural wood plank tile is a nice warm color that complements the cabinet colors in the room and ties in the yellow walls.
Castle Cocoa Wood Plank Tile
The Castle Cocoa wood plank tile has a variation of color in the planks. Again, these are warm rustic colors in this space.
Fusta Chocolate 10x34 Plank
The Fusta Chocolate 10x34 plank pulls in the colors in the backsplash. Here you will see I rotated the planks to go the length of the room. The cushions in the chairs complement the room.
Waterfalls White 12x48 Plank
The Waterfalls White in a 12x48 plank in a cool white color pulls the white from the ceiling tray.
The Kid's Bedroom
Don't you agree that a Kids bedroom should be fun and full of color? So let's explore a few design ideas that add more fun to the floors of this room than the original 12x12 tile. Perhaps these are even some product ideas you normally wouldn't have considered.
Augusta Beige Matte 18x18
Augusta Beige Matte 18x18 with its warm beige tone really ties in the dressers and bed frames. The soft walls keep the room bright even with a darker tile on the floor.
Copacabana Blue 12x24 Porcelain Tile
The Copacabana Blue 12x24 porcelain tiles add a soft touch of blue and tan to the room. It mimics the look of waves on the floor.
Cyrus Mezcla Vinyl SPC Plank
The Cyrus Mezcla is a vinyl SPC plank. I rotated this to go across the room design.
The wide variation and multi plank design create a fun wood look floor with different size planks.
Décor Fleur Ciel 8x8
The Décor Fleur Ciel 8x8 is a decorative tile in light blue and white. These colors and soft designs will make a kids room fun to play in.
The Master Bedroom
Here's the master bedroom with its 12" square tile flooring. As nice a room as this is, I bet it could look a lot more master bedroom-like with different flooring. By changing the sizes and colors, you can design a look that goes well with the furniture and paint colors that you have already in place.
Augusta Beige 18x18 Matte Porcelain Tile
The Augusta Beige Matte 18x18 porcelain tile pulls in the warm colors of the walls. These beige/tan colors work nicely in this space, and the larger tile size works well.
BIS Grafito 12x24 Tile
Here we are taking the BIS Grafito in a 12x24 that has a lot of structure and movement in the tile.
These dark colors pull in the grey bed frame and nightstands.
Kitami Azul 9x47 Plank
The Kitami Azul plank has blue/grey tones in the tile and also pulls in the beige wall color.
If you are not sure how this will look in your space the visualizer will help you decide. Also, you can change and rotate the tiles to get a different look in the room.
Luxent Loft Grey 9x47
The Luxent Loft Grey 9x47 is a plank with high variation in colors and tiles to complement this space.
Royal Grey 12x24
The Royal Grey 12x24 is a stone look with a lot of variation. So this will help you see the faces that are in the series.
The Master Bathroom
This modern master bathroom features soft grey marble tile on the walls in the shower. Let's see how four different flooring choices change the look of this space.
8x8 Decorative Tile
This first look is a decorative tile.
These tiles are 8x8 in size and create a decorative pattern on the floor. The grey and white complement the shower design.
Manhattan Series
The Manhattan series creates a criss-cross effect on the floor. The warmer colors on this tile look great with the dark cabinets and light shower walls.
Norton Tobacco Wood Plank
The Norton Tobacco wood planks in this dark rich brown tie in the mirrors and the dark vanity.
Even though you are using the marble in the shower the wood planks are a great complement to the design.
Venato Blanco
The Venato Blanco polished floor is a classic look in the Carrara family. This is rich and sophisticated.
