Meet Tampa Tile Contractors: JJ&D Tile Installation and Rolando Tile, LLC

Meet two Tampa tile contractors: JJ&D Tile Installation and Rolando Tile, LLC. They are customers of Tile Outlets of America and attended the annual Trade Pro Appreciation Party. They also each won one of two grand prizes: tickets to the Daytona 500 and a large screen TV.

Every year, Tile Outlets of America celebrates tile installation professionals during the annual Trade Pro event. After all, they are the ones who install the products we sell, transforming the dreams of homeowners into reality.

We enjoy these events because it's an opportunity to spend time getting to know our customers and their families outside of the store environment.

Up until this year, the Tampa event took place at the Tampa store. However, we've outgrown the store and celebrated this year in a space that made for great interaction and relaxing conversation as you can see in the image below.

We caught up with Rafael to ask him a few questions about his business.

TOA: Rafael, tell us about your business.

PRB: My company is JJ&D Tile Installation. We have been in business 5 years and focus on the Port Richey area although we will go to other areas where customers need us.

We specialize in tile installation, remodel bathrooms and install backsplashes, etc.

TOA: How did you first learn about Tile Outlets?

PRB: I learned about Tile Outlets of America through word of mouth from other contractors.

TOA: What you like most about Tile Outlets?

PRB: I like your service, the products, the hours of operation, the organization of customer orders at the front desk, how fast the tile comes in as well as the contractor rebates.

TOA: What are the most popular tile products customers want?

PRB: My customers want porcelain tile in 20x20 format and Travertine.

TOA: What are your favorite tile products?

PRB: My favorite products are the Merkrete735 Thinset, and the rectified 24x24 porcelain tile.

TOA: Is there an installation you’re particularly proud of?

TOA: Rolando, tell us about your business.

RL: My business is Rolando Tile, LLC.

I have been in business since 1998 and specialize in installing tile, stone, and wood/laminate. We do everything from bathrooms to backsplashes to floors and restoration.

TOA: How did you first learn about Tile Outlets?

RL: I live in the Tampa area and saw that there was a new tile store opening. I came to check out the new Tile Outlets of America store and have been doing business with you since then.

TOA: What you like most about Tile Outlets?

RL: I like your everyday low prices, the customer services and the store hours.

TOA: What are the most popular tile products customers want?

RL: My customer like porcelain tile because of its durability.

TOA: What are your favorite tile products?

RL: I really like porcelain and marble.

TOA: Is there an installation you’re particularly proud of?
