TEC Speciality Grouts

TEC offers two categories of advanced performance tile grout products.

1. Power Grout® Ultimate Performance Grout

Power Grout combines many of the benefits of epoxy and urethane grouts with easy application. It also offers excellent performance in virtually any environment, including high traffic and wet conditions and in residential and commercial applications.

As with any installation products, we strongly recommend that you carefully read the manufacturer instructions.

2. AccuColor® Premium Grout

Cementitious grout is another type of tile grouting.

AccuColor® Premium Grout (available in sanded and unsanded formulas) is a polymer-enhanced Portland cement grout that provides highly wear-resistant, color consistent joints. It offers solid performance in virtually any environment, including high traffic or wet conditions.

TEC Specialty Caulks

Sometimes it’s the finishing touches that make your project exceptional.

When you need high-performance silicone caulk to finish an installation, consider TEC AccuColor® Siliconized Acrylic Caulk. It’s precisely color-matched to all shades of TEC AccuColor grout for a flawless finish.

AccuColor Siliconized Unsanded Acrylic Caulk

This smooth, unsanded caulk has been formulated to precisely color-match TEC AccuColor grouts for flawless matching. It forms a tough, flexible, water and weather-resistant seal on most building materials, protecting your installation from moisture, drafts, and rot.

This caulk contains a special silicone additive to promote greater adhesion and longer life.

• Dries to a tack free finish in one hour.

TEC has a rich selection of specialty mortars to choose from. In fact, in each of the three Tile Outlets stores, you'll find the chart above to help guide you in your selection of the right mortar for your application.

Permaflex 300 LHT Mortar

This is a one-component, Portland cement-based tile mortar designed to set large format ceramic and stone tile firmly in place, without lippage or shrinkage, for interior and exterior floor applications over concrete where the embedded thickness is between 3⁄32"-1⁄2" (2.4 mm-12mm).

PermaFlex® 300 LHT Mortar may be used for the installation of porcelain tile, ceramic tile, quarry tile, non-moisture sensitive natural stone*, cement tile, pavers, and high bottom lugged tile.

* All-natural stone should be tested to be sure discoloration does not occur.

Quick Flex Accelerated Thin Set Mortar

• Available in 25 lb. bags in gray and white

Ultimate 6+ Mortar

A high performance, polymer modified, polymer-modified, full contact (full coverage) mortar ideal for the installation of gauged porcelain tile panels/slabs and large heavy tiles (LHT). LHT includes ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tile.

Unlike other mortars, Ultimate 6 Plus has a unique combination of features that allow grouting in 6 hours while providing extended open time. It is ideal for the installation of gauged porcelain tile panels/slabs and large heavy tiles (LHT).

Ultimate 6 plus significantly reduces the need for back buttering and has exceptional non-sag / non-slump characteristics for wall and floor applications.

Multipurpose Floor Prep Primer

An acrylic latex-based primer used with TEC brand self-leveling underlayments that improve adhesion and bond strength of TEC® levelers to the subfloor.

It also allows direct ceramic tile installation on many difficult-to-bond-to substrates such as metal, unscarified glazed ceramic and gypsum.* For peel and stick tile installation, primer can be used on dry, porous concrete, gypsum cement underlayments, and plywood. May also be used to promote bond over cold-rolled steel substrates.

Ready-to-use, flexible, mold and mildew resistant waterproofing crack isolation membrane for interior and exterior applications. Forms a smooth, monolithic, watertight surface over walls, floors, and ceilings.
