The wood look in tile has really captured the attention of visitors to Tile Outlets of America. For that reason, I'm excited to share with you two ceramic floor tiles that look like wood: Fronda and Sauco.
Fronda and Sauco both come from Spain and reflect the amazing realism that inkjet technology brings to tile.
Fronda Ceramic Floor Tile
The Fronda ceramic floor tile series is a ceramic 8x24 wood look plank tile from Spain. With its true wood colors and realistic knot pattern features in the tile, you can see and feel the true beauty of this product. It is available in these colors:
The image above features Fronda in Wengue, a rich chocolate brown color.
The Nogal color is a warm chestnut brown tone.
Fronda Perla is a light grey, white-washed wood look.

As you can see in the image below, the Fronda Perla color is light grey or off-white in appearance. This is a great floor tile if you're looking to create a beachy look with a light wood tone. This design is laid using the herringbone pattern design.

What I love most about the Fronda tile series is how beautifully realistic the wood grain and knotting in the tiles look. What better way to bring that wood look to Florida homes without all of the hassle!
The image below features Fronda Nogal in a herringbone design on the left of the picture; the bordering tiles are laid soldier.

Sauco Ceramic Floor Tile
The Sauco ceramic tile series comes in a 9x37 plank. Available from Tile Outlets of America in two colors, this wood-look tile is designed to give you the appearance of real wood in a ceramic plank:
As you can see from the images below, Sauco Miel is more honey-toned whereas Sauco Viejo has an older-wood, weathered feel.

The image below shows you how the Sauco Miel 9x37 ceramic floor tile looks installed. The end result is warm, visually interesting and intensely realistic when you realize that you're seeing tile and not wood.
