The KERDI-SEAL mixing valve seal waterproofs the toughest penetration in any tile shower: the opening where the valve breaks through the wall. This preformed piece bonds into your KERDI membrane so water can't sneak behind the tile and rot the wall. It's the detail pros never skip and DIYers wish they knew about.
The seal fits a 4-1/2" valve opening and installs with thin-set over KERDI or KERDI-BOARD, sealing the gap around the valve body before you set tile. Use it alongside KERDI-BAND at seams and corners for a fully bonded, watertight assembly.
