Product Overview
Durock mesh tape reinforces the seams between cement board sheets so cracks don't telegraph up through your tile. It's the tape you press into thinset over every joint before you set tile on a wall or floor.
The roll measures 2" wide by 50' long — enough to run the seams on a typical shower or backsplash job. The fiberglass mesh embeds in thinset or mortar and locks adjacent boards together into one solid substrate. Use it anywhere you're seaming Durock or similar cement backer board.
