Frequently Asked Questions
What tools do I need to tile a floor?
The core kit: tape measure and chalk line, notched trowel sized to your tile, mixing bucket and paddle, tile cutter and/or wet saw, spacers or a leveling system, grout float and sponges, and knee pads. Everything's in this collection.
Are these the same tools professionals use?
Yes — we stock the trade brands (DeWalt, Raimondi, Marshalltown, QEP, Pearl, Bihui) that Florida installers buy from us daily, not lightweight DIY versions.
Can I rent or should I buy a wet saw?
For a single small job, renting can work. If you'll do more than one room — or want a saw available for the inevitable repair cuts — a mid-range wet saw often costs less than two weekend rentals.
