Product Overview
This DuraSoft square-notch trowel is built for the biggest jobs, spreading thinset under large-format tile, oversized slabs, and heavy stone. The 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2" notch lays the deepest ridge in the line, packing enough mortar to bond large pieces flat and level.
Comb the thinset in straight rows at a consistent angle, then set the tile and press hard to fully collapse the ridges. The tall notch helps take up minor dips in the substrate under big tile, and the cushioned DuraSoft grip fights fatigue when you are moving that much mortar. Use it with modified or unmodified thinset on prepped floors and walls.
