Product Overview
The 1/2x1/2" square-notch trowel spreads thinset for large-format tile, thick natural stone, and uneven substrates that need a heavy bed of mortar. The deep 1/2-inch square notches lay down enough thinset to fully support big, heavy tile and beat down lippage.
Hold the stainless steel blade at a consistent angle, comb the mortar in one direction, and set your tile with a slight back-and-forth to collapse the ridges. The stainless blade wipes clean and resists rust, so it holds its edge job after job. Use it for 12" tile and larger, porcelain planks, and stone.
