This DuraSoft square-notch trowel spreads thinset for large-format tile and heavy stone. The 3/8" x 3/8" x 3/8" notch lays a tall, generous ridge of mortar, delivering the coverage big tile needs to bond flat and resist lippage.
Comb the thinset in straight rows at a steady angle, then set the tile and press it firmly to collapse the ridges for solid contact. The deeper notch helps bridge minor variation in the substrate under large pieces, and the cushioned DuraSoft grip keeps you working comfortably through heavy tile. Use it with modified or unmodified thinset on prepped floors and walls.
