Product Overview

New York Greenwich Village turns a wall into a slice of the city with the look of aged, characterful brick. This slim 4x8 brick-look porcelain tile carries soft tonal variation and a lived-in texture, delivering the warmth and personality of a vintage brick facade in a format that installs like tile and asks for almost no upkeep.

Its 4x8 brick shape and matte finish read authentic and understated, and the natural shading differences from tile to tile give a finished wall genuine depth. Made in Italy, the porcelain is tough and moisture-resistant, standing up far better than real brick to kitchens, baths, and daily wear.

Greenwich Village is a natural for backsplashes, feature and accent walls, fireplace surrounds, and hospitality-style interiors that want a relaxed, urban-loft mood. In Florida homes, its brick texture adds coziness and contrast to bright, open rooms without the bulk of masonry. Lay it offset to play up the classic brick coursing.

Because every brick-look piece is a little different, it is worth ordering a single tile to preview the texture and tone in your space before buying the full quantity.

Finish the Job

A tile order isn't a finished job. Here's everything that goes in the truck with it — in stock at all three Florida stores, and ready to ship.

  1. Trim & finished edges

Every exposed edge needs a finished profile. Match your tile with bullnose, or wrap the edge in a metal or PVC profile. Ask us and we'll pull the trim that matches this series.

  2. Grout & caulk

Joints under 1/8" call for unsanded grout. Add matching caulk for inside corners and every change of plane — grout cracks there, caulk doesn't.

    Shop Unsanded Grout
  3. Thinset & mortar

Wall tile in a dry area can go up in mastic; anything wet, heavy or large-format needs a modified thinset. Check coverage before you buy — most jobs need more than people think.

    Shop Thinset Mortar
  4. Slab prep & crack suppression

Outdoor slabs move. A crack-suppression membrane over a flat, clean slab keeps hairline cracks from telegraphing straight through your tile.

  5. Sealer & care

Seal cement grout once it has cured, and keep a tile-safe cleaner on hand. No acids, no bleach.

    Shop Sealers
  6. Tools

Notched trowel, grout float, buckets, spacers and a leveling system — plus a cutter or wet saw sized to the tile you're setting.
