Product Overview

Kyndal Haya takes its cue from European beech — a 12x60 wood look porcelain plank tile in light, even tones with a smooth, airy character. Haya is Spanish for beech, and the plank wears the name honestly.

Made in Spain by STN Ceramica, the extra-long 12x60 format creates floors with long, calm lines and far fewer joints than standard planks allow. The matte finish keeps the pale surface natural-looking, and porcelain construction handles the spills, chair legs, and daily traffic that real wood resents.

It is a natural for Scandinavian-leaning interiors, sunlit family rooms, and bedrooms that want brightness with warmth built in. Each box carries three planks, close to fourteen and a half square feet, so coverage builds fast on open floor plans. Run the planks toward the main light source and the long lines pull daylight deeper into the room, while a pale warm-grey grout lets the beech tones stay in charge.

Sold by the piece, so bring one plank home and see the beech tones in your own light before ordering the whole floor.

Finish the Job

A tile order isn't a finished job. Here's everything that goes in the truck with it — in stock at all three Florida stores, and ready to ship.

  1. Trim & finished edges

Every exposed edge needs a finished profile. Match your tile with bullnose, or wrap the edge in a metal or PVC profile. Ask us and we'll pull the trim that matches this series.

  2. Grout & caulk

Joints 1/8" and wider need sanded grout. Add matching caulk for inside corners, wall-to-floor joints and transitions.

  3. Thinset & mortar

Set your tile in the right mortar — large-format and porcelain want a modified, medium-bed thinset. Check coverage before you buy.

    Shop Thinset Mortar
  4. Waterproofing

Showers and wet areas need a waterproof membrane behind and beneath the tile. Board it, band the seams, seal the corners — then set tile.

  5. Shower system

Building the shower too? Trays, curbs, drains, niches and benches that work together with the membrane system instead of fighting it.

  6. Sealer & care

Seal cement grout once it has cured, and keep a tile-safe cleaner on hand. No acids, no bleach.

  7. Tools

Notched trowel, grout float, buckets, spacers and a leveling system — plus a cutter or wet saw sized to the tile you're setting.
