Split face stone is texture you can feel across the room. Each Carrara White 6x18 split face marble panel is genuine natural stone, its surface cleft into staggered ridges that shift from bright white to soft grey as the light moves.
Quarried in China and finished as interlocking strips, every panel of this real marble is one of a kind — expect natural variation from piece to piece and lot to lot, and embrace it; that character is the point of stone. Plan to seal it after installation and refresh the sealer periodically to keep the surface protected.
Use it for fireplace surrounds, accent walls, entry features, and dramatic backdrops behind shelving or media walls. The 6x18 interlocking format stacks into a continuous ledger pattern with no visible grout joints, and each box of ten panels covers ten square feet. Uplighting or a wash from a picture light exaggerates the ridges and makes the wall feel carved.
Panels sell individually, so order a single panel as a sample and study the ridged texture and veining in person before you plan the full wall.
