Deep coffee-brown planks, nearly five feet long: Sherwood Walnut is a 9x59 wood look porcelain plank tile that gives a room instant weight and warmth. The dark, lifelike walnut grain anchors furniture and rugs the way a stained hardwood floor does.
Rondine makes Sherwood in Italy, and it shows in the printing: knots, grain lines, and tonal shifts vary across the planks so the floor never repeats obviously. The matte finish keeps the look natural while the porcelain body handles heavy foot traffic without refinishing.
Because the planks run long, a staggered offset of twelve to eighteen inches keeps the floor looking hand-laid rather than patterned. A chocolate-brown grout in a narrow joint melts into the boards, while a slightly lighter joint will quietly outline each plank. Three planks per box cover 11.63 square feet of floor.
It suits dining rooms, dens, and primary suites, and it grounds wide-open plans flooded with coastal light.
