The Silver Travertine pencil liner is a slim, rounded stone accent that frames and finishes a tiled wall. This 0.7x12 piece runs as a delicate border around a backsplash, niche, or mirror, breaks up a large field, or caps a wainscot with a soft, rope-like profile instead of a hard tile edge.

Each piece is honed natural travertine from Turkey, with a matte surface and the silvery-grey banding typical of the stone. Color, veining, and fill vary from piece to piece, which is the charm of natural stone. Travertine is porous, so seal it before grouting and again after installation to protect against stains and moisture.

Pair it with Silver Travertine field tile for a tone-on-tone border, or set it against a contrasting tile to draw a clean line. Since tone shifts between lots, buy a single piece first to check the match before ordering the full amount.
